Story concept:

If you're alive, we are always having a deepest desire in our mind that is a silent space making us oxygen and breathing, which can present as narrow and limited corner. We chasing, run away from the reality, and struggling in our whole life, cause we do not want to face the fear and laid heavy burden on in our heart.

"If we losing any religions, which looks like we do not have freedom anymore, indeed that is the last wishes."

Could you telling me what is the different between human being and the death. Free from a body, people still trying to evade the reality, but back inside to the middle of heart, the religion is continuing slowly growing up and building it. Even feeble pulse, and the sounds grew fainter, I still telling myself, I believe I won't give up for my life.

Was honoured to be invited along with other great animators, designers & studios to create an ident for this year's Pause Fest in Melbourne. The theme was 'connected', and ideas were very loosely formed based on sketchbook doodles and some amazing early sound concepts from the very talented Wes Slover of Sono Sanctus. After trying out a lot of stuff, here's what came out:

Airspace - Based on the theme of the creative community, as we travel through our differing ideas and inspiration together. Each interaction shapes and shifts the overall result, but the hope of creating something new and unique gives us reason to keep doing what we do. And of course who doesn't like a levitating giant squid monster?
Best viewed in the dark with the headphones turned up loud.

Melancholia is a time-lapse shortfilm shot in Iceland during the summer solstice of 2013, using modified infrared Sony DSLR camera.
During 12 days I explored and photographed both the South Coast and the Snæfellsnes peninsula, looking for the best scenes to represent in infrared.
Direct sun light, green grass and blue skies are a must in infrared photography, and are even better if combined, something not easy to get in Iceland.
I want to thank Quique Touriño for helping me in the hard process of developing the infrared pictures.

Holi Shit takes a team of freerunners, geared up with a lot of "men's toys” which were as great to play with as they are to watch in slow motion and follows their adventures through the abandoned suburbs of Berlin.

During their three days journey, the freerunners and camera crew got lost more than once on the endless highways outside of Berlin Brandenburg. We also realized that the most interesting abandoned places are not only well concealed, but are well guarded by security and police. Ignoring those signs of warning the next days were packed with thrilling moments of spectacular runs and tricks but also, getting chased by ghost hunters at midnight, and getting arrested by the police while shooting a drone shot with smoke grenades on top of the tallest building in the area. Obviously not a good idea!

Every big city has one thing in common. After a while it is quite hard to get out of a place filled with so much energy. Chasing those abandoned buildings and feeling the calmness of a place once filled with so much life was truly inspirational.

This summer, two friends and myself all left our comfortable jobs of six years to spend two months traveling across the country and teaching photography workshops along the way. We all felt that it was time to take a risk and get out of our comfort zones... adventure was calling us. It was a trip filled with endless hours cooped up in a van, exploring breathtaking landscapes, sharing stories and laughs, meeting some of the nicest people, making new friends, getting to meet old friends from around the country, and sharing our love of photography with others.

This trip was a constant test for me, as we had such short and limited time in nearly all of the spots we visited. In most cases, I'd have to hurry out of the van with all of my gear and find a decent composition in a very short amount of time as soon as we would arrive at the location. It was a constant race against the light.

During those 2 months, we traveled across 32 states , visited 13 national and state parks, and drove nearly 13,000 miles in a (somewhat) trusty old Dodge Caravan... with no cruise control. It was an adventure that gave us many memories that we will all hold onto for many years to come. I think that everybody needs to take a trip and have their eyes opened to just how beautiful this world is and how much is really out there.

Infinity . Atomium presentation . 2013

In 1958 a World's Fair was held in Brussels, Belgium and to mark this monumental occasion they built the Atomium. Designed by André Waterkeyn its structure—steel-clad spheres connected by tubes to form a square—mimics the structure of an iron crystal magnified billions of times. Fast forward 55 years and now, inside this iconic building, resides a light installation called -Infinity, a collaboration between Joanie Lemercier and Visual System.
It's part of a summer exhibition entitled ID#2013 Poème Numérique inspired by Le Corbusier and Xenakis' innovative video installation Poeme Electronique which featured at the 1958 Expo.
For the site-specific installation -Infinity the artists investigate "the spatial qualities of light". Sticks of LEDs ride up the interior of one of the spheres, augmenting the structure and responding to sounds and tone—this is complemented by a "polygon planet" suspended from the ceiling, built by Joanie Lemercier as a cardboard origami structure which has visuals projected onto it (text by Kevin Holmes).

I had the opportunity to co-produce and direct a YouTube web series with Adam Buck, for Red Bull Media House in 2012 called Winch Sessions. This was by far my favorite episode, and some of my crews best work. Along with amazing imagery, you get to learn how cranberries are harvested.

No berries were destroyed while making this. Cranberries are tough as hell, there was zero waste of food. As far as sanitation goes, it's an open body of water. A few dudes in wetsuits wont hurt a thing ; )

Expedition Iceland is a collection of some of my favorite shots I did around Iceland during my 17 day, 4000 mile adventure around the country during the midnight sun in June 2013. This personal piece was shot entirely using the Canon 5D Mark III and only a few different Canon lenses.

I've always wanted to visit Iceland, and I had to take the opportunity when it came up. Sleeping in the passenger seat of a small SUV and living off mostly gas station food, it was all worth it. The country was absolutely stunning and I certainly hope to spend more time there again.

Special thanks to Kessler Crane for providing me with the motion control equipment used in the making of this video. All motion was done using the Kessler Crane CineDrive.
